Every city has its hidden places and Rome doesn’t make an exception. Sometimes following a beautiful ray of sun after a storm you turn around a corner and you find places out of space and out of time, where poverty, bizarre and mystery mix together to give you a new sense of the cit, or maybe a more realistic one.
Just two underground stops from Colosseum, in the popular neighborhood of Testaccio you could find homeless people living in old stables together with horses, the ones used by the roman coachmen to offer tourists a romantic ride of the city.
